As a founding member of the group, Julie brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and compassion to the team. She forges deep relationships to guide clients through life’s changes and implements a strategy reflective of their values and goals. Julie helps clients align their financial objectives with their life goals to grow and preserve their wealth for generations to come. With a passion for closing the gender gap in investing, she believes client education and advocacy are vital throughout the wealth management journey.
With more than 25 years of wealth management expertise, Julie previously worked at First Union, UBS and Oppenheimer & Co. She graduated from Appalachian State University with a B.S in communication.
Active in the Asheville community for over a quarter of a century, Julie volunteers with Manna Food Bank, Habitat for Humanity and has served on several boards, including the NC Stage Company, the PTO Board of Claxton Elementary School, and the Asheville Affiliates. Together with her three children and their golden retriever, she enjoys her being active with all of the outdoor gifts that Asheville has to offer.
